Performance Friction Brakes Street/Track Upgrade

Performance Friction is now applying current race technology to the brake systems of your street/track car.  PFC is the official brake system supplier to Champ Car as well as other notable teams around the world.  They have taken the race calipers developed for the demands of professional racing and made them accessible and affordable for the general track day participant.  The calipers are made of billet or forged aluminum alloys.  This will increase their rigidity and stiffness far beyond their competitors.  Another advantage is with the four-pad design.  Four brake pads will increase the initial bite and eliminate tapered pad wear.  One bonus is that in most cases they can fit within factory wheels!  It is performance usually reserved for the systems run in past Champ Car, F1, and Le Mans racing series.   PST is very pleased to be able to offer a greater range of PFC products to our customers.  

The Z30 caliper is current technology direct from Grand-Am, World Challenge, and Le Mans prototype race cars.  This kit is an ideal front system on many heavier applications(including SUVs with large wheels).  There are two different Z30 systems.  The difference is the brake rotor outer diameter.  This system is for a outer diameter range of 355-380mm.

The Z32 caliper is current technology direct from Grand-Am and World Challenge race cars.  This kit is an ideal rear system on many heavier applications.  It will also work well as a front kit on light duty touring cars.  This system is very similar to the Z29.  The difference is that this system will allow for a larger diameter rotor.

The Z44 caliper is current technology direct from Champ Car.  This caliper was developed specifically for this series.  This caliper works great on the front or rear of vehicles that have near 13” diameter rotors installed from the factory.  This is the ideal system for applications that minimize rotating weight.
