ARAI GP-5 Helmet

The GP-5 PED represents the result of Arai's pursuit of a comprehensive package, providing comfort and function. Constructed of Arai's exclusive ScLc (Super Complex Laminate Construction) shell technology, which provides superior impact energy management properties.  Standard price includes your choice of either white or pearl black exterior finishes.  A matte black and aluminum silver exterior finish is available for an additional $25.00. 

·         Extensive ventilation with two air intake slots in the chin area, upper ventilation with 3 intake scoops in front and two Delta ducts in the rear.

·         3 mm thick, 2D visor with F1 aluminum visor system prepared for the use of tear-offs

·         Mounting pods for the HANS anchors.

·         Approved fire resistant lining and yellow Kevlar chin strap material.  

·         The PED kit for better aerodynamic properties comes uninstalled, kit must be installed.

BEFORE ORDERING:

Measure your head and or try the helmet for sizing at our location!  A starting point is measuring the circumference of your head.  Start by measuring ½ to 1 inch above your eyebrows in front and around the back of your head to a point that will produce the largest measurement.  This is a starting point for size as every head is shaped slightly different.

ARAI GP-5W Helmet

The new GP-5W comes with a visor, and an optional adjustable Hyper-T peak visor and removable cheek pads.  This helmet is the result of the demand from drivers in touring car classes, where the added vision of a larger eye-port is needed.  Constructed of Arai's exclusive ScLc (Super Complex Laminate Construction) shell technology, which provides superior impact energy management properties.  Standard helmet color is white or pearl black.  Additional colors are available for an additional $25.

·         Extensive ventilation with two air intake slots in the chin area, upper ventilation with 2 large IC Ducts 2, intake scoops in front and two Delta ducts in the rear.

·         3 mm thick, 2D visor with F1 aluminum visor system prepared for the use of tear-offs

·         Mounting pods for the HANS anchors.

·         Approved fire resistant lining and yellow Kevlar chin strap material.
